John Ronan began designing and making tools out of his garage in Downey, California in 1987.
Ronan Tools first big success was the Sears Craftsman “Handi-Cut” in 1996. The company’s tremendous achievement at Sears can be measured by this tool selling over 5 million to date! The next generation “Accu-Cut” has gained it the Sears Craftsman Professional label. Ronan Tools had the pleasure of Bob Villa presenting its products on Sears infomercials.
Ronan Tools first introduction into housewares was the "Clever Cutter" The original knife & cutting board combined into one hand unit. It was so successful that Sears awarded Ronan Tools the prestigious "Partners in Progress Award." The company subsequently brought the "Clever Cutter" to QVC and sold out during its first airing. Then during the show "In the Kitchen with Bob" 10,449 units were sold in just 8:42. The Clever Cutter can now be seen regularly on QVC!
Other products Ronan Tools manufactures are the Overdrive, a time saver for carpenters & do it your selfers. It enables you to drill and drive a screw without removing the drill bit. Also the Multi-Cut family of tools that covers all of your cutting needs.
